50 Shades of silence

50 Shades of Silence was founded by Darieth Chisolm. As a recent survivor of cyber sexual assault, sometimes referred to as revenge porn, after an ex-boyfriend created a website with nude pictures and videos of her that he took while she was asleep. Instead of remaining silent, Darieth began speaking out and launched 50 Shades of Silence, a social justice project to educate on the issues of cyber assault, advocate for tougher laws, and empower victims of these crimes.

50 Shades of Silence is comprised of a feature-length documentary, a website, and an app with resources and services, and a line of motivational and empowerment material for assault victims and survivors called Everyday Courage. Darieth is also speaking out and sharing her experiences on national TV shows including The Dr. Oz Show and Megyn Kelly TODAY.

Because of her courage to believe in herself, she was able to help create support for woman (female?) victims of abuse and abusive relationships. The mission is to help abused women develop confidence and self-worth so they can become independent, self-reliant, and take pride…

This organization will help to provide individual evaluations and analyses which will identify the strengths of each victim, enroll victims in programs that offer a business plan and entrepreneurial skills development, provide an individual support team that will offer encouragement yet facilitate accountability, and provide business grants to individuals that continue to demonstrate growth in their business.

Care for a Cure

Care for a Cure was founded in 2008 by Dave McGarry in Cody, Wyoming. CARE is a registered non-profit 501(c)3 organization. CARE was established as a dual-purpose organization, focusing both on breast Cancer and Alzheimer’s disease awareness and prevention.

McGarry felt compelled to launch the organization after his life was indelibly changed forever following his mother’s diagnosis with Alzheimer’s disease and several friends passing from Breast Cancer.

His conviction to make a difference led to the formation of CARE. Since its inception, CARE has focused on medical research initiatives, advocacy, and family care. CARE is also developing cutting -edge mobile apps to assist care-givers, family members, and those suffering with Alzheimer's disease with valuable resources.

CARE's vision is to expand into a global charity. With your help CARE will grow its impact, bringing about awareness, treatment, funding, and resources to those suffering from these diseases and those caring for them. All while progressing toward a cure.
